Award-winning Sleaford Museum explores the history of Sleaford’s past, its people and the local area through informative, well-researched exhibitions. Detailed illustrated boards, fascinating artefacts and items, plus personal stories in attractive displays that change frequently – so there is always something new to see – are on view. An eye-catching scene in the large picture-window encourages visitors (14,000 so far) into its free entrance, only to be amazed at the colourful TARDIS-like interior. Entirely set-up and run by enthusiastic dedicated volunteers, it appeals to all ages with maps, old photographs, research books, films-on-loop, a quiz, and dressing-up for children. Please discover this unique, quirky, ever-changing attraction situated in Monument Gardens.
