DESCRIPTION:Aged 10-18 years and interested in helping the natural world? Whisby’s Junior Wardens group might just be for you. Come learn some practical conservation skills and natural history knowledge. \nAbout the event\nOur dedicated youth group\, Junior Wardens\, is designed to give young people aged 10-18 years practical conservation skills and specialist knowledge about natural history topics. These sessions can cover anything from coppicing and woodland management to species identification and bushcraft. For the cost of £3.00 per member (cash only)\, our sessions run every first Saturday of each month from 10am-12.30pm. Attendance gives young people the opportunity to learn with likeminded people and build lasting working relationships.
